Spiritual Gifts
The Spiritual Gifts series began on June 12,
2007 and was completed on October 14, 2007 with 56 lessons.
No Christian should stand before his
Savior, as his life is evaluated, not able to answer the
question, “What
did you do with what I gave you?” Every believer was
given a spiritual gift at the moment they were saved and it
is God’s expressed will that Christians use their gifts
for the benefit of one another. “As
each one has received a special gift, employ
it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold
grace of God (1 Pet. 4:10). When the believer’s
spiritual gift begins to function, “ ...the Holy Spirit is doing
a particular service through the believer and using the believer
to do it” (italics added, Chafer,
vol. VI, Systematic Theology, 216). In this series, you will
learn about the dynamics of spiritual gifts, identifying
your spiritual gift and how it is to be used by God for the
benefit of fellow believers as the love of Christ impels
you. You will also learn why some spiritual gifts are no
longer functioning in the day in which we live. |
