Houston Conference 2006 The Life of Prayer series began on
14 March 2006 at the Houston Conference as lessons 1-6
and was completed on 16 April 2006
at Grace Atlanta Bible Church with a total of 20 lessons.
Numbers 12:1-14; Heb 4:16; James 5:16e; John
14:12, 16 Prayer and the life of Moses; CABP must rely on Bible
doctrine plus the filling of the Holy Spirit in prayer.
1 John 1:3,9; Eph 5:18 – The importance
of learning the Holy Spirit’s ways with you so that you
can live the supernatural spiritual life by means of The supernatural
power provided.
Gal 4:6; Rom 8:15-16 – The Holy Spirit’s
degree of influence over the believer is directly proportional
to the believer’s malleability and dependence in fellowship
with God the Holy Spirit.
Rom 9:1; John 4:24; 1 Tim 5:5; Eph 6:18; Gal
5:25; Phil 2:13 - Prayer in the life of a widow; the bearing
witness ministry of the Spirit in the prayer life of the [malleable]
believer.
Rom 8:1-26 The practical application of prayer
is to place yourself at the disposal of the Holy Spirit. To
pray for what He would have you pray for - when He prompts
you to pray for that.
Rom 8:26 – The believer receives help in
his prayer life from the bearing witness ministry of the Holy
Spirit - intensified as that believer learns the Spirit's ways
with him.
Rom 8:26-27; Eph 6:18 and Rom 8:28 – Conclusion
to the Life of Prayer. “A failure to pray is a failure
to ask for God’s help – a very subtle form of arrogance
in the life of the believer”.
