I Thess.
The 1st Thessalonian series began on October 4, 2005 and was completed on February 7, 2006 with 137 lessons.

The apostle Paul, after being thrown out of Macedonia, writes this epistle to the local church in Thessolonica that he, Silas, and Timothy organized into an effectively functioning body of believers. His purpose is to encourage the local church to press on and excel together with a unity of effort in their spiritual advance. This study emphasizes the importance for the believer to advance alongside other believers as opposed to advancing on his own. 1st Thessalonians is a great study of how a local church is designed to function with the Church Age believer fulfilling his niche in the ranks of the assembly for the glory of God.
